These terms govern the booking of experiences and classes through lasonrisadegardel.com. By booking and paying on the site, you accept these conditions.
1. Who we are
La Sonrisa de Gardel is a cultural and art space located at Inclán 3090, Parque Patricios, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its mosaic mural was declared a Site of Cultural Interest by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires.

2. Services
We offer guided visits to the mural, combined experiences (visit + tango, visit + mosaic) and tango classes. The description, duration and number of people for each service are shown on the site at the time of booking.
3. Prices and payments
- Prices are in US dollars (USD) and may vary depending on the number of people.
- You can pay with Mercado Pago or PayPal.
- If you pay with Mercado Pago, the amount is charged in Argentine pesos, converted by Mercado Pago at the exchange rate in effect at the time of payment.
- If you pay with PayPal, the amount is charged in USD.
- Your booking is confirmed once the payment is credited. You will receive the confirmation by email.
4. Bookings
- You choose the date and time according to the availability shown on the site.
- Please arrive on time. There is a 15-minute grace period; after that, the activity may be shortened or considered as not attended.
- Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
5. Pack of 3 tango classes
The pack payment covers all three classes. When you book, the first class is scheduled; the next two are arranged directly with us by WhatsApp or email, subject to availability. The same cancellation conditions in section 6 apply to each class.
6. Cancellation and refund policy
If you cancel:
- 24 hours or more in advance: 100% refund or free rescheduling, at your choice.
- Less than 24 hours in advance, or if you do not show up: no refund. You can ask us to reschedule and we will consider it depending on availability.
If we cancel (due to rain that prevents the activity, force majeure or our own reasons): we offer you rescheduling or a 100% refund, at your choice.
How to cancel: email us at info@lasonrisadegardel.com or message us on WhatsApp at +54 9 11 7311-4269, stating your name and the date of your booking.
How refunds are made: through the same payment method you used. With Mercado Pago, the amount paid in pesos is refunded; with PayPal, in dollars. The time it takes to be credited depends on your bank or card (with a credit card it may appear on your next statement).
7. Right of withdrawal
You can revoke your purchase within 10 calendar days of making it, provided there are more than 24 hours left before the booked date and the activity has not taken place, at no cost and with a full refund. You can do so through the site’s Right of withdrawal button, by email or by WhatsApp. We will send you a request code within 24 hours.
8. Works in the Shop
The works in the Shop are not sold through the site’s checkout: enquiries and sales are arranged directly with the artist by WhatsApp. The conditions of each sale are agreed at that time.
9. Personal data
We use the data you give us (name, email, phone) only to manage your booking and to communicate with you. We do not sell it or share it with third parties, except with the payment processors (Mercado Pago, PayPal) to charge your booking. You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to info@lasonrisadegardel.com, in accordance with Argentine Personal Data Protection Law 25,326.
10. Photos and videos
You may take photos and videos of the mural for personal use. For commercial use, please ask us first.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, including Consumer Protection Law 24,240.
